Golden Man"

original airdate: 28 December 1966. This scene was filmed
the morning of 26 October 1965, the 5th shooting day for this episode.
In order to have the robot spin around quickly and smoothly, Bob May
pulled his arms inside the torso. A clear plastic strap was wound
around the torso and then pulled off camera, spinning the robot's torso
like a top. In the photos above and below, you can easily see this
plastic strap running around the top of the vertical portion of the
torso. These scenes were filmed on 21 October 1966 on Stage 11
